Tata Motors reports 33% growth in global sales

On Monday, Tata Motors announced a 33% increase in global sales, including those of Jaguar Land Rover, which reached 3,35,976 vehicles in the September 2022 quarter. In the same period last year, 2,51,689 units had been sold.

Global wholesale sales of all Tata Motors commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo line totalled 1,03,226 units in the third quarter, up 16% from 89,055 units a year earlier, according to a statement from the firm.

2,32,750 units were sold worldwide in the quarter compared to 1,62,634 units during the same time last year for all passenger vehicles.

JLR sold 89,899 units worldwide during the time period under consideration. Land Rover wholesales totalled 73,268 units, compared to 16,631 automobiles for Jaguar.

In the last fiscal year from July through September, JLR sold 78,251 units.
