Tata Motors announced the repositioning of its Nexon EV portfolio on Wednesday, with price changes and increased range. The price increase follows the release of Mahindra’s XUV 400 electric SUV.
According to a press release, the Nexon EV Prime XM has been repriced at Rs14.49 lakh. Meanwhile, Mahindra’s newly launched electric SUV costs Rs15.99 lakh.
From January 25, 2023, the range of Tata’s Nexon EV MAX variants has been increased to 453 km. This range extension will be available to current Nexon EV MAX owners via a software upgrade at dealerships beginning February 15, 2023.
The company today added a feature-rich Nexon EV MAX XM trim to its portfolio, with a starting price of Rs16.49 lakh.
Nexon EV MAX XZ+ Lux, the top trim, has been re-priced at Rs18.49 lakh. In addition to the XM features, it has Leatherette Seats with Ventilation, Wireless Smartphone Charger, Cabin Air Purifier, Auto Dimming IRVM, Electric Sunroof, HARMAN 17.78 cm Floating Infotainment system with 8 speakers, 16-inch Alloy wheels, Hill Descent Control, Sharkfin Antenna, and more.
The company has immediately opened reservations for the entire Nexon EV lineup. Deliveries of the new Nexon EV MAX XM variant will begin in April 2023.
