Patanjali Foods: The Supreme Court’s finding of ‘misleading advertisements’ for some of Patanjali Ayurved’s goods would have no impact on Patanjali Foods, a distinct publicly traded corporation, according to the Ramdev-led company. The Supreme Court panel issued a show-cause notice to Patanjali Ayurved, co-founded by yoga guru Ramdev, and managing director Balakrishna for breaking their agreement not to make ‘misleading claims’ in marketing for its products.

Larsen & Toubro: L&T Infrastructure Development Projects (L&T IDPL), a subsidiary of the corporation, has sold its whole investment in Interise Investment Managers (IIML), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of L&T IDPL. As a result, IIML no longer operates as a subsidiary of L&T IDPL or the corporation.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises: The media and entertainment company’s Board of Directors has approved expanding and strengthening the role of the ‘Independent Advisory Committee’ by adding ‘Investigation Assessment’ as a primary responsibility, as well as changing the committee’s name from ‘An Independent Advisory Committee’ to ‘An Independent Investigation Committee’.

Torrent Power: The power company secured the winning bid and received a letter of intent from PFC Consulting for the creation of an inter-state transmission project named ‘transmission system for the evacuation of power from renewable power projects in Solapur (1,500 MW) SEZ in Maharashtra.’ The initiative aimed to facilitate the evacuation of 1,500 MW of renewable energy from Solapur.

Piramal Pharma: The Audiencia Nacional of Spain levied a punishment of 1,82,001 euros on the company’s step-down subsidiary Piramal Critical Care B V (PCC BV). PCC BV is considering pursuing an appeal against the Audiencia’s decision with the Spanish Supreme Court. The fine assessed on PCC BV has no meaningful impact on the company’s finances, operations, or other activities.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation: The state-owned company has established ONGC Green, a wholly owned subsidiary that will operate in the energy value chain, specifically renewable energy, biofuels and biogas, green hydrogen and its derivatives such as green ammonia and green methanol, storage, carbon capture utilisation and storage, and LNG.

SJVN: SJVN Green Energy (SGEL) has started up a 100 MW Raghanesda solar power facility in Banaskantha, Gujarat. SGEL was awarded this 100 MW solar power project at a cost of ₹2.64 per unit through competitive tariff bidding by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL). A 25-year power purchase deal has been inked with GUVNL.

Axis Bank: The Reserve Bank of India has accepted Munish Sharda’s nomination as Executive Director of Axis Bank for three years, beginning February 27. In October of last year, the bank’s board of directors authorised Munish Sharda’s appointment as a full-time director and executive director.

Vodafone Idea: The board of directors has approved a fund raise of up to ₹20,000 Crore through stock. The business intends to raise around ₹45,000 Crore using a combination of stock and loans. The company’s bank debt is now less than ₹4,500 Crore. The stock and loan money raising will allow the firm to invest in considerable expansion of 4G coverage, 5G network rollout, and capacity.
