Here are some of the stocks that may see significant price movement today.
Tata Steel: The steel maker announced that it has initiated the second phase of its plant in Kalinganagar, Odisha. The business also reported that it is planning to expand annual crude steel capacity from the existing 3MT (million tonnes) to 8 MT. The plan includes investment of ₹27,000 Crore.
Hindustan Copper: The company said that it will consider raising up to ₹500 Crore via issue of Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) or bonds. The issue shall be made on a private placement basis in its upcoming board meeting scheduled for May 27.
Grasim Industries: The Aditya Birla Group posted a net loss of ₹288 Crore in the quarter ended March 2025. In the year-ago period, the business posted a net profit of ₹441 Crore. On the other hand, revenue from operations registered a growth of 31.90% on a year-on-year basis to ₹8,926 Crore.
NTPC Green Energy: The business stated that it has emerged as the winning bidder in an e-reverse auction conducted by NHPC Limited. The demerged business has received a cumulative capacity of 80 MW/320 MWh via the competitive bidding process.
Trent and BEL: BSE stated that its wholly-owned subsidiary Asia Index Private Limited said that it is rejigging several BSE indices. This includes the 30–stock benchmark Sensex. This restructuring shall be effective from June 23, 2025.
