Wipro enters a multi-year application transformation deal with Mazda Europe

16 Dec 2022 , 10:27 AM

Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting firm, has announced that Mazda Motor Logistics Europe has chosen it to provide next-generation managed services across its entire application landscape.

Mazda is currently transforming itself into a more centralised organisation with standardised business capabilities and harmonised business processes, resulting in lower costs and complexity.

This strategic partnership with Wipro will assist Mazda IT in industrialising, digitising processes, and enabling agile DevOps ways of working while incorporating cutting-edge tools to drive automation.

“This significant victory recognises the company’s unwavering commitment to collaborate with our clients for advancing their transformation agendas. Wipro plans to implement a high-performance operating model with new ways of working, integrating support and development functions, and leveraging Wipro’s assets and IPs to help Mazda achieve its 2030 vision.

Furthermore, this win validates Wipro’s focus on Belgium as a key growth market, as well as our ambition to be a partner of choice in the Belgian market,” commented Sarat Chand, Vice President & Managing Director, Benelux, Wipro.

At around 9.49 AM, Wipro was trading at Rs391.70 down by 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs395.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs393 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs393.55 and Rs389.55 respectively.
