With a 37.4% stake, Adani group becomes the largest shareholder in NDTV

According to BSE data, the 13-day open offer for an additional 26 % interest in NDTV by the Adani group was completed on Monday, with investors tendering 5.32 million shares or a third of the open offer size of 16.7 million shares.

Adani Group is now the most significant stakeholder: The Adani group, which already owns 29.18% of NDTV, acquired a further 8.26% interest through an open bid. With a 37.44 % interest, it holds the highest stake in the news channel, surpassing founder-promoters Radhika and Prannoy Roy, who owns 32.26 % of the business.
