DSP CRISIL SDL Plus G-Sec Apr 2033 50:50 Index Fund NFO: Here’s all you need to know

DSP Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “index fund category”, named as DSP CRISIL SDL Plus G-Sec Apr 2033 50:50 Index Fund. This open-ended fund will invest in to track the CRISIL SDL Plus G-Sec Apr 2033 50:50 Index by investing in Government Securities (G-Sec) and SDLs, maturing on or before April, 2033.

Investment strategy: The NFO will follow Buy & Hold investment strategy in which existing bonds will be held till maturity unless sold for meeting redemptions, payment of IDCW, rebalancing requirement or optimizing portfolio construction process.

Asset allocation: DSP CRISIL SDL Plus G-Sec Apr 2033 50:50 Index Fund will hold an allocation of 0% to 100% of its assets in Debt Instruments & Money Market Instruments. Debt instruments with relatively high interest rate risk and relatively low credit risk.

Who should invest?

Investors with moderate risk appetite seeking regular income, in the long run should invest in the fund. Investors can gain from indexation benefits and limited incidence of taxation at the time of withdrawal, as there is no application of entry or exit load, supporting emergency withdrawals.

The NFO is available for subscription from January 09 to January 19. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
