Energy Preview: Crude Oil Slips In Asia

May 24, 2022 9:00 IST | capital market
Crude oil eased today. Asian shares slipped on Tuesday as relief at a rally on Wall Street failed to extend. Traders also eyed rising US rig count data. The US energy firms last week added oil and natural gas rigs for the ninth week in a row. The oil and gas rig count, an early indicator of future output, rose 14 to 728 in the week to May 20, its highest since March 2020, energy services firm Baker Hughes Co said on Friday. WTI Crude oil futures trade under $110 per barrel, down 0.44% on day. Powered by Commodity Insights
