SML ISUZU's Q4FY16 standalone net profit rises 31% yoy at Rs.16.67 crore : Estimates Mixed

SML ISUZU, commercial vehicle manufacturer, reported standalone net profit of Rs.16.67 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, registering growth of 30.85% yoy. However, the company had reported net loss of Rs. 0.93 crore in the preceding quarter. The company’s standalone revenue stood at Rs. 318.07 crore, down 1.08% yoy but up 63.81% qoq.

Its standalone core operating profit of Rs. 27.08 crore for the quarter, clocked growth of 31.07% yoy and 957.81% qoq. Operating profit margin for the current quarter at 8.51% expanded by 208 bps yoy and 719 bps qoq.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company reported standalone net profit of Rs. 51.16 crore, growing by 38.49% yoy. Its standalone revenue for the period stood at Rs. 1,164.30 crore, registering growth of 5.31% yoy.

SML ISUZU's core operating profit stood at Rs. 84.76 crore, recording growth of 29.29% yoy. Operating margin for the current period at 7.54% expanded by 161 bps yoy.

SML ISUZU Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 1035, down by 29.9 points or 2.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 1064.9 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1071 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1085.25 and Rs. 1024.1 respectively. So far 295664(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1540.91 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1599.9 on 04-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 645.5 on 29-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1164 and Rs. 995.2 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.49 % and 47.54 % respectively.
