Bajaj Electricals secures new contract worth Rs332.65 crore from PGCIL

The contract has been received under the 'Transmission line Tower Package TW04.'

Bajaj Electricals Limited informed the exchanges and investors that the company has received a supply of goods/services contract from PGCIL, a domestic entity.

The contract has been received under the ‘Transmission line Tower Package TW04’, to be executed in Maharashtra.

As per the company, the scope of work includes the supply of goods/services under Transmission line Tower Package TW04 for ‘765 kV D/C Navasari (New) (South Gujarat) - Padghe line (Maharashtra portion)’ – associated with Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat to increase its ATC from ISTS.

The company has estimated a value of Rs332.65 crore from this project.

The company said that the above project shall be completed within a period of 15 months from the date of issue of NOA/LOA.

At around 9.29 AM, Bajaj Electricals was trading at Rs1,130.75 per piece, down by 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs1,137.25 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs1,151 and touched intraday high and low of Rs1,156.85 and Rs1,124.60 respectively.
