BCL Industries and subsidiary bag orders worth Rs 661 crore; stock climbs ~2%

BCL Industries and its subsidiary company participated in a tender floated by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on October 18, 2022, inviting various molasses and grain-based distilleries to supply Ethanol at their various locations across the country from December 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023.

Following the completion of the first round of offerings, BCL Industries has been allocated 4.9 million litres of ethanol from its manufacturing unit in Bathinda (Punjab), with an order value of approximately Rs 285 crore, to be supplied to the OMCs.

Furthermore, the company's Distillery unit has received an order worth Rs107 crore from Reliance Industries to supply 1.65 crore litres of Ethanol.

Svaksha Distillery, a subsidiary of BCL Industries, has been allocated 3.65 crore litres of ethanol from its Kharagpur (West Bengal) manufacturing unit, with an order value of around Rs213 crore, to supply the OMCs.

In addition, the unit has received an order worth Rs56 crore to supply 89 lac litres of Ethanol to Reliance Industries.

At around 1.11 PM, BCL Industries share was quoted at Rs385 up by 2.05% from its previous closing of Rs377.25 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs393 and Rs375.75 respectively.
