On Thursday, with respect to Certificate of Deposits Programme of the Bank, CRISIL has reaffirmed the credit rating of The Karur Vysya Bank Limited (KVB).

CRISIL has reaffirmed its 'CRISIL A1+' rating on the certificates of deposit programme of the Bank.

According to the rationale, the rating continues to reflect comfortable capitalisation with heathy liquidity and stable retail deposit franchisee profile.

This strength is partially offset by moderate asset quality, average profitability, and small scale of operations with geographical concentration.

At around 3:20 PM, Karur Vysya Bank was trading at Rs47.85 apiece down by Rs0.7 or 1.44% from its previous closing of Rs48.55 apiece on the BSE.
