DCB Bank Ltd., a new-generation private sector bank, today announced the opening of its 50th branch in Odisha — at Chandrasekharpur, a resident and commercial locality in the capital city Bhubaneswar.
The new branch is a part of DCB bank’s strategic expansion in Odisha, entailed to offer a range of retail banking services such as current account and savings account (CASA), loan products, and Fixed deposits (FDs). It is expected to provide a variety of loan products to micro and small businesses, farmers, Agri, local artisans such as Patachittra artists, Small Road Transport Operator (SRTO), and individuals.
The branch will also disburse loans for tractors, education institutions, high-tech farming, retail small ticket microfinance loans, and Kisan Credit Card to farmers, in addition to loans against gold and loans to MSMEs. In past, DCB bank has also financed construction projects particularly aimed at affordable housing.
DCB Bank also opened branches at Junagarh in the Kalahandi district, Padampur in the Bargarh district, and Khariar in the Nuapada district of the state.
DCB Bank considers Orissa as an important state for business. At present, DCB bank has over 100,000 customers across 46 branches.
DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs72 up by Rs1.1 or 1.55% from its previous closing of Rs70.90 on the BSE.
