Deepak Madnani steps up as new Chief Financial Officer of Wockhardt

Wockhardt Limited informed that Pramod Gupta has conveyed that on account of his health reasons he will not be able to continue in his role as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and has been relieved from his responsibilities at the end of working hours on June 6, 2022.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 7, 2022, took note of the same and approved the appointment of Deepak Madnani as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

Deepak brings in nearly 22 years of versatile experience in Financial Operations covering Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Cash Flow Management, MIS Reporting, Auditing, and Statutory Compliance with Proven abilities in leading implementation of systems/ procedures to achieve financial discipline and enhance process efficiency.

Previously, he has been associated with the company in various leadership roles for more than a decade.

At around 11.11 AM, Wockhardt was trading at Rs257.20 up by Rs0.75 or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs256.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs256.45 and has touched intraday high and low of Rs259.95 and Rs256 respectively.
