GM Breweries tumbles ~6% despite posting growth in Q4FY22 numbers

GM Breweries has announced its results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2022. The company has reported a jump in numbers over the last quarter and previous financial year.

The company has reported revenue from operations of Rs541.33 crore in Q4FY22 as compared to Rs464.12 crore in Q4FY21, registering a growth of 16.64% yoy. It reported a sequential growth of 5.31%, the previous quarter’s revenue being reported at Rs514.02 crore.

For the financial year as a whole, the company has posted a growth of 44.27% yoy in its revenue from operations at Rs1,771.83 crore for FY22 as compared to Rs1,232.46 crore for FY21.

The company’s PAT grew by 102.53% during the current quarter at Rs40.08 crore against Rs197.90 crore in the previous quarter. However, it logged a year-on-year decline of 11.60% in PAT at Rs40.08 crore for Q4FY22 as compared to Rs45.34 crore in Q4FY21.

GM Breweries reported a jump of 16.57% yoy in PAT for the FY22 at Rs93.36 crore as compared to Rs80.09 crore in the previous financial year.

The Board of Directors has also recommended dividend of Rs5 per equity share of Rs10 each.

G M Breweries Ltd is currently trading at Rs675 down by Rs35.55 or 5% from its previous closing of Rs710.55 on the NSE. It touched intraday high and low of Rs738 and Rs665 respectively.
