Gokaldas Exports to augment production capacity, explores new line of biz; Stock under pressure

The company has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Sri Susamyuta Knits on Friday.

Gokaldas Exports Limited plans to augment its production capacity and also explore opportunities in the new line of business.

“The company believes the new business prospects should be carried out under a new wholly-owned subsidiary company to manage the operations in an efficient manner and to be in a better position to service international customers,” Gokaldas Exports said in a filing on Friday.

Further, the company has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Sri Susamyuta Knits, on January 14, 2022. The board of Gokaldas Exports will consider October-December quarter results on January 21, 2022.

At around 12.20 pm, Gokaldas Exports Ltd was trading at Rs386.45 per share down by Rs7.55 or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs394 per share on the BSE.
