Quarterly Results
Hindustan Unilever, Biocon, Asian Paints and Bajaj Finserv are some of the major companies that are set to announce their December 2021 (Q3FY22) quarterly results on Thursday.

In Q3FY22, HUL is all set to report 10% YoY growth in revenue, fueled by volume growth of 1-3% and price hike of 7-8%. Growth will be led by the beauty and personal care or BPC, and homecare categories. Food business could post mid-single digit revenue growth during the quarter.

Asian Paints is expected to record double-digit growth in top-line front on the back of higher volumes and base effect. The company's volume growth will be partly supported by temporary factors such as inventory build-up at the dealer level amid fears of price hikes and supply disruptions. However, due to the high base, the company's EBITDA margin may witness a downward trend.

Bajaj Finserv was under pressure ahead of its Q3 numbers. However, the company's major subsidiary Bajaj Finance garnered robust earnings with Q3 PAT rising by 85% yoy, while net interest income rose 40% yoy. Earlier, this month, Bajaj Finserv had announced the performance of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company. For the nine months of FY22, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance's gross direct premium underwritten stood at Rs10,419.69. From April - to December 2021, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance's premium stood at Rs5,900.09cr.

With the subsidiary's performance, Bajaj Finserv looks to have a stable Q3 financial performance.
