Royal Enfield, a manufacturer of motorcycles, stated on Thursday that its overall sales increased by 53% to 70,112 units in August 2022.
In the same month last year, the business sold 45,860 units, according to a statement from Royal Enfield. Domestic sales increased by 61 percent in August 2022 to 62,236 units from 38,572 units, the statement continued.
According to the firm, exports increased 8.1% last month to 7,876 units from 7,288 units in the same month last year. The firm saw increased sales when the Hunter 350 was introduced early last month, according to Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan, and the model will begin to be sold in various foreign countries in the upcoming months.
