Indian Oil stock trades in green as Sujoy Chaudhary joins the Board

Indian Oil Corporation Limited informed the exchanges that the company has appointed Sujoy Choudhury on the Board of IndianOil as Director with effect from 23 February 2022.

Sujoy Choudhury (57 years) has completed his Mechanical Engineer and MBA (Finance) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Sujoy has a thrilling experience of more than three decades across various functions of the Oil Industry like Engineering, Retail Sales, and Petrochemicals (Marketing).

Before his appointment as Director (P&BD), Shri Sujoy Choudhury has occupied the position of Head in IndianOil’s Punjab State office wherein he was in charge of all petroleum activities in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, and in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh.

He has actively contributed in strengthening the Oil infrastructure of the State / UT’s, introduction of Winter Grade Diesel for high altitude areas, development of specialized lubricants for FMCG industry, introduction of geotextiles and steel concrete composite structures for construction in hilly terrains etc.

IOCL is currently trading at Rs116.95 down by Rs0.2 or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs117.15 on the BSE. The scrip touched today’s high and low of Rs118.50 and Rs116.80 respectively, so far.
