Karnataka Bank appoints 5 new deputy General Managers; stock under pressure

The bank has promoted its existing Assistant General Managers.

Karnataka Bank Limited informed that it has promoted five of its Assistant General Managers viz., Raghuram HS, Srinivas S Dandapur, Keshava Kumara S, Jagadeesha D G, and Vinay Kulkarni as Deputy General Managers.

Raghuram HS began his career with the bank in 1994 and has over two and a half decades of experience in banking service.  He will head the Risk Management Dept. at Head Office and the Bank's Chief Risk Officer (CRO) after being promoted to Deputy General Manager.

Srinivas S Dandapur joined the bank in 2022 and has over two decades of banking experience. He will be promoted to Deputy General Manager, Credit Sanctions Department at the Bengaluru - Bull Temple Road Office.

Keshava Kumara S is a Law graduate and also holds a Diploma in Information Technology with over 13 years of experience. He joined the bank in 2014 and is presently the Head of Legal & Recovery Dept., Head Office. He will continue to be the Head of Legal & Recovery Dept., Head Office on his promotion as a Deputy General Manager.

Jagadeesha D G started his career in the Bank in the year 1997 and has nearly two and a half decades of banking service. He will be promoted to Deputy General Manager at the Bank's Digital Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

Vinay Kulkarni began his banking career in 1995 and has over two and a half decades of banking experience. As Deputy General Manager, he will be in charge of the Branch Banking & Digital Channels Department at the Head Office.

At around 2.54 PM, Karnataka Bank was trading at Rs71.90 down by 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs72.25 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs73.10 and Rs71.25 respectively.
