Markets at day's high with Nifty above 18,350; Sensex jumps 400 pts

Domestic benchmark indices turned bullish after the bleak start on Thursday's morning session. Both the Sensex and Nifty benchmarks had begun inching up in the green after US Federal Reserve's November policy meeting hinted at a possible moderation in the pace of interest rate hikes.

The stock market logged stellar performance on late afternoon session today on broad-based buying in domestic sectoral indices.

On the sectoral front IT index outperforming by rising around 440 points with auto and metal index in the fast lane ahead of F&O expiry.
At around 2:05 PM, Sensex was trading at 61,866.12 higher by 355.54 points or 0.48%. Nifty 50 traded at 18,373.15 higher 105.90 points or 0.58%

Top Bulls on NSE are: Apollo Hospitals (+4%), HDFC Life (+3.5%), BPCL (+2.85%) supported by Tata Consumers (+2.44%) and HCL Tech (+2.38%). Meanwhile, top losers on NSE are: Coal India (-1.13%), Kotak Bank (-0.82%), Bajaj Finserv (-0.80%), Adani Enterprises (-0.60%) and Hero MotoCorp (-0.45%).
Furthermore, Mumbai-based realty firm Keystone Realtors made a tepid debut on the bourses listing at a 2.6% premium to its issue price of Rs541 per share. The stock started trading at Rs555 on the exchange.
