Pioneer Distilleries: Mena Plant expected to restart From January 2017

The ongoing works are expected to be completed by December 2016 and the plant is expected to restart from January 2017.

With reference to the earlier letter dated March 03, 2016, informing thereby the temporary stoppage of the manufacturing activities of the 100 Kilo Liters Per Day (KLPD) Molasses Based Extra Neutral Alcohol (MENA) plant(s) at the factory of the Company located at Balapur (V), Dharmabad (Taluk), Nanded District 431 809, Maharashtra, with effect from February 01, 2016 on account of shortage in water availability due to less rains during monsoon season in the region.
Pioneer Distilleries Ltd has announced that under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with Para B of Part A of Schedule III and Para 2.3 of Part B of the SEBI Circular dated September 09, 2015 that, during this temporary closure of the said MENA plant, the Company has started overhauling of the boilers (part of the said MENA plant) and the dryer. The said on going works are expected to be completed by December 2016 and the plant is expected to restart from January 2017.
Revenue of Rs. 502,795,000/- constituting 35% of turnover of the Company was contributed by the aforesaid MENA plant during the financial year 2015-16.
