Rail Vikas Nigam bags order worth Rs560.26 crore from Northeast Frontier Railway; stock zooms ~3%

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited informed that in JV named RVNL – Bhartia JV informed the investors and exchanges that the company has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) on May 30, 2022, regarding the Construction of Single Line BG Tunnel No. 06.

The scope of work includes Escape Tunnel, Cut and Cover, Earthwork in Bank & Cutting to make formation, Security Barrack, and other protection and ancillary works in connection with DMV-Kohima New BG Line Project by Northeast Frontier Railway.

The company further stated that the total cost of the project is Rs560.26 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs33.35 up by Rs0.95 or 2.93% from its previous closing of Rs32.40 on the BSE.
