  • Markets to open on a muted note; support @17,450, resistance at 17,900.
  • FIIs bought shares worth Rs1273.86cr (cash), bought Rs532.97cr in index futures.
  • US markets closed mixed. Asian Markets opened muted.
  • Brent crude was trading 0.17% lower at $79.86 per barrel.
  • Bajaj Finance: Customer franchise as of December 31, 2021, stood at 55.4 MM as compared to 46.3 MM as of December 31, 2020. The Company’s customer franchise increased by 2.6 MM in Q3FY22 as compared to 2.2 MM in Q3FY21.

  • GAIL acquired an equity stake of26% held by IL&FS Energy Development Company Ltd (IEDCL) and IL&FS Financial Services Ltd (IFIN) in ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited (OTPC), which owns and operates a 726.6 MW gas-based combined cycle power plant in Palatana, Tripura.
  • Thermax Limited has concluded an order of Rs545.6cr from an Indian power public sector company to set up flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) systems for their two units of 500 MW capacity each in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • NMDC produced 3.95 MT and sold 3.40 MT of iron ore in the month of December, 2021. The largest iron ore producer of India registered marginal growth in production over CPLY and delivered the highest ever production in any December month since inception.
  • Texmo Pipes and Products has started commercial production of the project "TEXMO WATER TANK". The project is mainly used for overhead storage of water in house and commercial establishments and all construction and manufacturing sites and elsewhere.
