Wagner Jesus has been named Country Head and Managing Director for operations in Brazil by
Wipro Limited, a renowned technology services and consulting firm.
Wagner had joined Wipro three years ago, taking over as the leader of the non-financial business sector.
Throughout his employment, he has played an important role in both local and global accounts, and he has effectively created contacts in the region. He has been a driver of substantial change inside the firm and is a powerful leader who has spearheaded the company's most recent acquisitions while driving expansion in Brazil.
Wagner has a management certificate from Harvard Business School, a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from FIAP in Brazil, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vale do Paraiba University in Brazil.
Wagner has a proven track record of effective leadership and has continued to strengthen Wipro's commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion by working on several local Wipro committees.

At around 9.24 AM, Wipro was trading at Rs418.65 up by 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs416.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs418.65 and touched intraday high and low of Rs419.80 and Rs418 respectively.
