Weekly recap: Markets end the week with marginal gains; Nifty, Bank Nifty end higher

Once again Indian equity markets settled with a marginal gain at the end of the week. The benchmark index Nifty ended with a gain of 0.85% whereas Bank Nifty has ended 1.27% higher.

Indian economy is seen to be recovering steadily after slipping into recession on the back of domestic consumption.

As per the latest data, country’s unemployment rate was at 7.8% for the week ended November 22 .
