Prices of gold and silver fall in early trade

Ten grams of 24-carat yellow metal traded for Rs 52,640 in the early hours of Thursday, down Rs 110 from the previous day’s closing price. 1 kg of the precious metal is now being sold for Rs 61,000, a Rs 200 reduction from yesterday’s closing price for silver.

According to the GoodReturns website, ten grams of 22-karat gold are trading at Rs 48,250, down Rs 100 from yesterday. Ten grams of 24-karat and 22-karat gold are being sold for Rs 52,640 and Rs 48,250, respectively, in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

24- and 22-carat gold is retailing in Delhi for Rs 52,800 and Rs 48,400, respectively. 10 grams of gold are now selling for Rs. 53,410 (24-carat) and Rs. 48,960 in Chennai (22-carat). In Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, 1 kg of silver costs Rs 61,000. The metal is sold for Rs 67,500 per kg in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
