Agri Buzz: IMD Expects Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall In Key States Like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala And Karnataka

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in several states during the next five days. It also said that a cyclonic circulation lay over south Jharkhand and neighbourhood extending upto upper tropospheric levels. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over the same region during the next 24 hours. The states where heavy rainfall is predicted during the week are Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
