Amara Raja Batteries Limited updated the exchanges pertaining to the closure orders from Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB), for the company’s Plants situated at Karakambadi, Tirupati, and Nunegundlapalli Village, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.
The company said, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has extended the interim suspension of said closure orders of APPCB and the next hearing is scheduled on January 24, 2022.
At around 10.14 am, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd was trading at Rs636.95 per piece up by Rs3.3 or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs633.65 per piece on the BSE.
“The copy of the order is awaited. We further wish to inform that there is no loss on account of this disclosure.
