Andhra Pradesh High Court permits Dalmia Cement (Bharat) to resume operations at Kadapa plant

Dalmia Bharat Limited informed the exchanges Tuesday that the High Court of Andhra Pradesh vide order dated February 01, 2022, has permitted the cement plant of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), a wholly-owned material subsidiary of the company to resume its functioning forthwith till further orders.

DCBL had received an order dated January 29, 2022, from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) for the closure of one of its cement plants at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. DCBL had challenged the said order by way of filing a Writ Petition before the High Court.
