As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Suzlon Energy Ltd., Ashwani Kumar has retired. With effect from April 5, 2023, former group CEO and strategic advisor, JP Chalasani will take his position, the business has announced in a regulatory statement.
From 2016 to 2020, Chalasani, who has over 40 years of expertise in the electricity industry, served as group CEO at Suzlon.
Since January 2014, Chalasani has served as Punj Lloyd’s managing director and chief executive.
Despite a two-fold increase in earnings for Suzlon in the October to December quarter, at Rs 78 crore, Ashwani Kumar resigned.
Yet, compared to the same quarter last year, its net revenue fell by more than 9%.
