Avenue Supermarts reports 17.8% yoy jump in Q4FY22 revenue; Stock up 1%

Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMart) reported a 17.8% yoy jump in Q4FY22 revenue on a standalone basis. As per a release issued by the company on Sunday, the company’s standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ended March 2022 rose to Rs8,606.09 crore from Rs7,303.13 crore.

The total number of DMart stores as of March 31, 2022, stood at 284.

At around 9.35 am, Avenue Supermarts Ltd. was trading at Rs4,123.90 apiece up by Rs41.6 or 1.02% from its previous closing of Rs4,082.30 apiece on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs4,110 and has touched a high and low of Rs4,149.95 and Rs4,110 respectively.
