Bharat Forge Ltd slips for fifth straight session

Bharat Forge Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 683.45, down 1.55% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.25% on the day, quoting at 16816.5. The Sensex is at 56362.61, down 0.42%.Bharat Forge Ltd has eased around 7.75% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which Bharat Forge Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 5.47% in last one month and is currently quoting at 12537.35, down 0.34% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 10.39 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 16.09 lakh shares in last one month. The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 682.5, down 2% on the day.
