Biocon Biologics appoints Kedar Upadhye as new CFO

Biocon Biologics announced Kedar Upadhye as its new CFO on Thursday. Upadhye succeeds MB Chinappa, who will join the Biocon Group’s financial team. Upadhye succeeds MB Chinappa, who will join the Biocon Group’s financial team.

The leadership changes will take effect on October 31, 2023, according to a statement from the Bengaluru-based company.

ReNew Energy Global Plc has hired Upadhye to join Biocon Biologics. Biocon Biologics is a Biocon Ltd. subsidiary. 

Biocon Limited is a Bangalore-based Indian biopharmaceutical business founded by Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw iin 1978. The firm produces generic active medicinal ingredients, which are distributed in over 120 countries worldwide, including the United States and Europe.

He has over 23 years of worldwide leadership experience in Corporate Finance, Governance, Strategy, Accounting, Business Finance, and Investor Relations with top Pharma, Energy, and FMCG companies such as Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s, PepsiCo, and Thermax.
