According to a top corporate official, Kolkata-based SAJ Food Products, which makes biscuits under the Bisk Farm brand, expects to generate Rs 5,000 crore in revenue by FY29, at which point it may also consider going public. The Eastern market accounts for roughly 80% of the company’s sales, and it is also growing its operations.
According to the company’s managing director Vijay Singh, SAJ Food is constructing a Rs 100 crore factory in Guwahati with a 10,000-ton production capacity per month, bringing its installed capacity to 3 lakh tonnes annually.
With a top line of Rs 2,100 crore and a net income of Rs 200 crore, the company ended FY23.
Since 2020, when we had revenue of Rs 1,200 crore, we have been expanding at a compounded 15% rate. We are now the brand in our category with the quickest growth. We increased by 20% in FY23, generating a top line of Rs 2,100 crore and a net income of Rs 200 crore, according to Singh.
