Capital Goods shares edge lower

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Graphite India Ltd (down 4.7%), Bharat Electronics Ltd (down 2.99%),AIA Engineering Ltd (down 2.32%),Timken India Ltd (down 1.97%),Carborundum Universal Ltd (down 1.79%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd (down 1.79%), Praj Industries Ltd (down 1.41%), Honeywell Automation India Ltd (down 1.34%), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 1.14%), and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (down 0.86%). On the other hand, Suzlon Energy Ltd (up 5.63%), Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (up 2.18%), and Siemens Ltd (up 2.15%) moved up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 183.34 or 0.31% at 58482.14.The Nifty 50 index was up 43.45 points or 0.25% at 17425.45.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 155.73 points or 0.57% at 27697.25.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 50.7 points or 0.59% at 8677.84.On BSE,1941 shares were trading in green, 1317 were trading in red and 165 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
