Capital Goods shares edge lower

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd (down 2.28%), Suzlon Energy Ltd (down 2.2%),ABB India Ltd (down 2.04%),Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (down 1.51%),Praj Industries Ltd (down 1.22%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Schaeffler India Ltd (down 1.21%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd (down 1.18%), Timken India Ltd (down 1.13%), AIA Engineering Ltd (down 0.82%), and Graphite India Ltd (down 0.52%). On the other hand, Elgi Equipments Ltd (up 2.66%), Siemens Ltd (up 2.03%), and Honeywell Automation India Ltd (up 1.5%) moved up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 105.91 or 0.17% at 60465.17.The Nifty 50 index was down 21.2 points or 0.12% at 18048.85.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 13.9 points or 0.05% at 29907.87.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 11.95 points or 0.13% at 9229.92.On BSE,1713 shares were trading in green, 1675 were trading in red and 161 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
