Consumer Durables stocks slide

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Amber Enterprises India Ltd (down 4.39%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (down 2.92%),Voltas Ltd (down 2.63%),Havells India Ltd (down 1.38%),Blue Star Ltd (down 0.73%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Rajesh Exports Ltd (down 0.73%), and Bajaj Electricals Ltd (down 0.64%). On the other hand, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd (up 1.27%), Titan Company Ltd (up 0.69%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.61%) turned up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 183.34 or 0.31% at 58482.14.The Nifty 50 index was up 43.45 points or 0.25% at 17425.45.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 155.73 points or 0.57% at 27697.25.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 50.7 points or 0.59% at 8677.84.On BSE,1941 shares were trading in green, 1317 were trading in red and 165 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
