SGX Nifty: Trading of Nifty 50 index futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could slump 368 points at the opening bell. Domestic markets: Back home, the key equity barometers ended with small gains on Friday. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, rose 59.15 points or 0.10% to 58,833.87. The Nifty 50 index gained 36.45 points or 0.21% to 17,558.90. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 51.12 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs), were net buyers to the tune of Rs 453.59 crore in the Indian equity market on 26 August, provisional data showed.
