Economic Buzz: Singapores Industrial Production Growth Eases

Singapores industrial production growth eased sharply at the end of the second quarter, and at a faster-than-expected pace, preliminary data from the Economic Development Board showed. Industrial production rose 2.2 percent year-over-year in June, much slower than the 10.4 percent gain in May. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, industrial production advanced by 4.2 percent yearly in June, after a 13.4 percent increase in the preceding month.
