Edelweiss Multi Cap Fund NFO: A Comprehensive Guide for Investors

Edelweiss Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “Equity category”, named as Edelweiss Multi Cap Fund. The open-ended fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity & equity-related instruments across large cap, mid cap and small cap stocks. 

Investment strategy: The investment approach will be bottom-up stock picking – where investments will be selected primarily based on specific criteria relevant to the company in question rather than general macroeconomic considerations.

Asset allocation: Being in the Multi-Cap category, the scheme will invest across all market capitalization categories. The scheme will invest a minimum of 25% each in large, mid, and small cap stocks, with the balance of 25% providing flexibility to the fund manager to invest in market capitalization categories.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years to diversify across market cap should invest in Edelweiss Multi Cap Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from October 4 to October 18. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
