The Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Thursday reported a 79 Bcf injection into U.S. natural gas storage for the week ended November 4. The injection outpaced the prior five-year average injection of 20 Bcf and was also far more than 15 Bcf increase EIA recorded for the year-earlier period. Seven of the last eight weekly reported injections have now surpassed the five-year average, EIA data show. The latest build lifted inventories to 3,580 Bcf, or 76 Bcf (minus 2.1%) shy of the five-year average, according to EIA. Powered by Commodity Insights
