Financials stocks rise

Among the components of the S&P BSE Finance index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd (up 6.95%), Muthoot Capital Services Ltd (up 6.84%),Tata Investment Corporation Ltd (up 4.98%),L&T Finance Holdings Ltd (up 3.59%),Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd (up 3.55%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Centrum Capital Ltd (up 3.4%), Karnataka Bank Ltd (up 2.63%), PNB Housing Finance Ltd (up 2.14%), DCB Bank Ltd (up 2.05%), and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd (up 2.04%). On the other hand, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd (down 3.07%), Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd (down 1.98%), and CARE Ratings Ltd (down 1.59%) turned lower.At 09:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 403.67 or 0.67% at 60518.8.The Nifty 50 index was up 119.55 points or 0.67% at 18055.9.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 188.79 points or 0.63% at 30012.47.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 63.39 points or 0.69% at 9283.77.On BSE,2086 shares were trading in green, 809 were trading in red and 120 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
