Flipkart launches new hotel booking serviceÂ

Flipkart is launching a new hotel booking service to strengthen its position in the tourism sector.

The e-commerce firm has collaborated with travel website Cleartrip and promises “better service.”

Flipkart Hotels will offer room reservations at over 3 lakh domestic and international hotels. Along with it, they will provide users with additional features such as flexible travel and booking policies, as well as simple EMI alternatives.

These additional features will be offered on the Flipkart app, and the new service will enable customers to benefit from third-party offers.

Cleartrip was acquired by Walmart-owned Flipkart last year to help the e-commerce firm strengthen its digital commerce solutions for customers.
