FMCG stocks slide

Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Rossell India Ltd (down 2.08%), Vadilal Industries Ltd (down 1.95%),GRM Overseas Ltd (down 1.51%),Apex Frozen Foods Ltd (down 1.5%),Dabur India Ltd (down 1.47%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were KRBL Ltd (down 1.47%), Varun Beverages Ltd (down 1.46%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (down 1.41%), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (down 1.34%), and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd (down 1.22%). On the other hand, Nath Bio-Genes (India) Ltd (up 9.8%), DCM Shriram Industries Ltd (up 5.32%), and Associated Alcohols & Breweries Ltd (up 3.99%) turned up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 199.75 or 0.34% at 58974.47.The Nifty 50 index was up 62.5 points or 0.36% at 17584.95.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 108.09 points or 0.38% at 28423.7.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 15.66 points or 0.18% at 8854.98.On BSE,1980 shares were trading in green, 1351 were trading in red and 161 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
