GAIL (India) Ltd fell 1.8% today to trade at Rs 131.25. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index is down 0.09% to quote at 17211.34. The index is down 7.41 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Indraprastha Gas Ltd decreased 0.77% and Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd lost 0.63% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went up 1.39 % over last one year compared to the 0.32% fall in benchmark SENSEX. GAIL (India) Ltd has lost 13.62% over last one month compared to 7.41% fall in S&P BSE Oil&Gas index and 3.54% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 67715 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 4.72 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 173.45 on 19 Apr 2022.
