After the healthy debut of Global Health on the bourses, the share closed the Wednesday session at a 24% premium with Rs 415.30 on NSE and 415.65 on BSE. The stock get listed at Rs 401 apiece on Wednesday and the day’s high was Rs 424.65 around 2 PM.
Global Health is a chain of private multi-speciality tertiary care providers which operates in North and East India under the brand name Medanta. The IPO of this healthcare giant was subscribed 9.58 times. Retail investors bid for 0.88 times shares of the allotted quota, and non-institutional investors bought 4.02 times the portion set aside for them, while QIBs bought 28.64 times the reserved portion.
In fiscals 2020, 2021 and 2022, the company has generated income from healthcare services of Rs. 1,544.27 crore, Rs. 1,478.16 crore, and Rs. 2,205.88 crore respectively. The profit after tax for these fiscals was 36.33 crore, 28.80 crore and 196.20 crore.
