Goa Carbon temporary shuts down operations for maintenance work at Paradeep Unit; Stock dips ~2%

Goa Carbon Ltd has informed to the exchanges regarding temporary shut-down of Paradeep Unit for maintenance work.

As per the regulatory filing, the operations at the Company’s Paradeep Unit located at Vill. Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, Dist. Jagatsinghpur, Odisha has been temporarily shut-down for maintenance work from April 28, 2022.

At around 9:55 AM, Goa Carbon was trading at Rs515.80 apiece down by Rs9.4 or 1.79% from its previous closing of Rs525.20 apiece on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs517.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs519.90 and Rs508.55 respectively so far during early trade today.
