HDFC Limited informed that during the quarter ended December 31, 2022, it has assigned loans amounting to Rs8,892 crore as compared to Rs7,468 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
During the quarter ended December 31, 2022, all loans were assigned to HDFC Bank under the buyback option embedded in the Corporation’s home loan arrangement with HDFC Bank, stated the company in a filing with the exchanges.
Loans sold in the year totalled Rs35,937 crore as compared to Rs27,591 crore in the previous year.
The company also stated that its gross income from the dividend for the current quarter stood at Rs482 crore as against Rs195 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
At around 3.22 PM, HDFC was trading at Rs2,626.60, down by 1.47% against the previous close of Rs2,664.70 on NSE. The counter hit an intraday high and low of Rs2,670 and Rs2,615.50 respectively.
