HDFC Bank declares dividend of Rs15.50 per equity share; highest dividend in over a decade

HDFC Bank Limited has informed investors and exchanges that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held on April 23, 2022, has recommended a dividend of Rs15.50 per equity share of Rs1 each fully paid up, out of the net profits for the year ended March 31, 2022 subject to the approval of shareholders at the upcoming general meeting.

The company has fixed Friday, May 13, 2022, as the record date for determining the eligibility of members entitled to receive dividend on equity shares.

The dividend shall be paid after the AGM to those shareholders, whose names appear in the Bank’s Register of Members/ Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depositories viz., Central Depository Services (India) Limited and National Securities Depository Limited as at the close of business hours on Friday, May 13, 2022.

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs1,348.35 down by Rs7.1 or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs1,355.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs1,352.60 and has touched day’s high and low of Rs1,361.10 and Rs1,323.90 respectively.
